Synopsis For High Island To Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 Nm West to northwest winds will come to an end tomorrow morning as high pressure moves over the Upper Texas coast. Southerly winds should return Thursday and Friday with gradually building seas on Friday. A cold front should push off the coast on Saturday allowing for strong northerly winds and seas. A Small Craft Advisory may be needed Saturday into Sunday. Winds and seas should begin to decrease Sunday as high pressure moves over the region again.

Tonight West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northwest after midnight. Bay waters slightly choppy.
Wednesday West winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southwest in the afternoon. Bay waters smooth.
Wednesday Night Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to 10 knots after midnight. Bay waters slightly choppy decreasing to smooth after midnight.
