We are looking for developers who can assimilate themselves into our lithe but productive development environment. We are a cohesive unit, capable of self direction but gathered around a collective purpose and a sense of site ownership. Our philosophy involves minimal meetings, low management overhead, high creative input, and agile development practices which allow us to leanly dominate in a highly competitive market.
Responsibilities:
- Learn existing code base (C/C++ on Linux)
- Work in a team environment to brainstorm, architect, write, and debug software
- Upgrade existing features
- Build new products
- Support existing and new products
Required Skills
- Expertise in data structures and algorithms using C and C++
- LAMP Experience
- Strong UNIX/Linux background
- Understanding of code scaling and efficiency
- HTML
Preferred Skills
- 10+ years of experience
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PHP, Perl, Javascript, and UNIX shell scripts
- Understanding of Flash, ActionScript
- Experience with MooTools, jQuery, or other JS libraries

We are looking for a tech support representative who can work with our development and advertising staff to follow extant tech support procedures as well as create new procedures for site products and advertisements. They will also assist in the coordination of support efforts between support staff in our multiple offices, and engage with our customers and members using our suite of support tools to provide rapid resolution of issues.
Responsibilities:
- Read, research, and respond to technical support requests
- Communicate with customers and site members
- Diagnose technical problems and seek solutions with responsible staff
- Coordinate with inter-office technical support staff
- Maintain support knowledge-base
- Help monitor and maintain our online community's standards

We are looking for an experienced, well rounded graphic designer, with an information centric design sensibility who can take a leadership role in the direct management of our visual brand. Interested designers should possess and be able to demonstrate an evolving sense of modern web aesthetics and a love for visually representing data with an equal emphasis on form and utility. You will work with a small group of passionate developers to bring complicated information and topics to a large and diverse group of site members as well as transmit our identity visually through marketing and advertising efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Adopt, evolve, and advocate our brand's identity visually.
- Overall website design
- Design of individual site products and applications
- Design of branded marketing materials including advertising creative and printed material
- Follow existing design patterns and establish new ones
- Prepare files for HTML and Flash production
Required Skills
- 5+ years experience creating online/interactive designs
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related experience
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash
- Ability to juggle multiple projects
- Self motivated to improve extant site products
