GENERAL SUMMARY:

- Manage department expenses and generate monthly reports
- Ordering marketing schwag and managing inventory
- Managing the department Production Work Flow software
- Assist in shipping and travel logistics for events
- Attending events (may require travel)

Junior Sales Planner |

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Junior Sales Planner will assist the Sales Planner with RFP responses and will work closely with Sales Planner to ensure that all process guidelines/rules are followed when building proposals. Create marketing materials and advertising sales decks for the ad sales team. Research and evaluate program content, identify key points of interest that will help differentiate our properties versus the competition. Help to develop new marketing tools and roll out to the sales team. Research and report on media trends to keep sales force educated, up to date, and informed about competitive environment. Participate in brainstorming sessions to provide new solutions both internally and externally.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to RFP’s/Build proposals (60%of time)
- Building power point presentations and proposals (responding to RFPs) to build new business.
- Create digital advertising campaigns for advertisers based on their said budgets.
- Brainstorm possible new tools/offers for potential advertisers.
- Update sales material (30% of time)
- Update media kit & sales information (one-sheets, rates, etc) for internal & external use.
- Research media trends/user demographics to position wunderground.com to break new business.
- Account Management (10% of time)
- Support account managers in processing insertion orders, running campaigns, etc.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Ad Ops Assistant (AOA) supports sales efforts in order to close deals, maintain accounts and win renewals. AOA will work in tandem with Sales and Development Teams to handle all account affairs including, but not limited to, properly documenting sales agreements, campaign insertion in to Weather Underground’s proprietary ad management system (AS5000), coordinating and tracking internal execution of plans and custom creative assets in order to successfully launch campaign, weekly traffic reporting to ensure overall campaign delivery and performance, and post campaign analysis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Advertising Operations (95% of time)
- Campaign Set-Up – Collecting and organizing assets received from agency and custom elements.
- Adjustments – Pacing and creative optimization.
- Reporting – Running weekly traffic reports to identify under/over deliveries.
- Analysis - Proactively communicate with sales person of any big successes, inconsistencies, underperformance or any other campaign-related metrics.
- Billing – End of month billing reports to Accounting.
- Operations Support (5% of time)
- Participate in meetings to discuss general usability and flow to proprietary ad management system, AS5000.
- Identify bugs in programming and alert appropriate Operations/Development team member.
